Chris Marker's Howl Legacy: Music as Innerspace (1989)

It has been three years that we were waiting for this. Following a post from 2010 (see here), someone has finally uploaded Chris Marker's philosophical series of 12 TV essays from 1989. Here is one, about music naturally, that is totally fascinating. Sorry for the French. There are no subtitles. Featuring Iannis Xennakis, Michel Serres, Cornelius Castoriadis et alii.

Re-up: Woozy & Zonked, compiled by Mick Peter - vol.1 & 2 (2011)



Summer 2013's re-up: Woozy & Zonked is a compilation especially selected by Glasgow based artist Mick Peter for StopMakingSense in 2011. Mick is an amazing sculptor, drawer and installation artist: his work can be seen here. He has exhibited internationaly, has collaborated with artists Daniel Dewar and Gregory Gicquel (see Daniel's compilation for SMS here) and has been participating in "Megacolon. For and Against Language", an astounding book and project conceived by artist Nathaniel Mellors from friends Junior Aspirin Records (more info here). He is also a writer for Frieze Magazine among other publications, and was a great blogger, via his great "Porridge Legs"(RIP). The comp', made of 29 track, is divided in two parts, and accompanied by specific drawing by the artist. Enjoy!
